Already, it's September By Lili
When weeds bend down
The horizon reveals its real curve
Vision extends, carried by the wind
over the purple blue, the far distance
While I turn back again
That deer near the woods
has vanished
Fields of flowers persist, open
White birches, grapevines
as well as the smiling sunflowers
are still waiting, next to the tranquil lake
August, and the whole summer
has been neglected entirely
by my paintbrush
This morning, a red fox passed, over the hillside
Awaken from the burning dream
Only then, I was surprised to discover:
The world was not certainly asleep
Already, it's September...
